Certified Organic Cold Pressed Avellana Chilean Hazelnut Cosmetic Oil 100ml Biopurus

The Chilean hazelnut is often confused with the European hazelnut, but they have nothing in common both botanically and in terms of the structure. The oil is pressed from wild-growing fruits that originate in Chile. The oil is yellow and has a slightly nut-like, earthy aroma. The oil contains uncommon fatty acids: iso-palmitic acid (omega-5, ca. 20%), up to 10% of iso-oleic acid (omega-6), 30-40% of oleic acid, up to 10% of linoleic acid and high level of tocotrienol (a form of vitamin E), all of which protect the skin cells from damage caused by ultraviolet radiation. The oil absorbs a wide spectre of UV radiation and can therefore be used as natural protection from UV rays. It is one of the most valuable plant oils used for sunbathing as a basic component in sunscreens. The oil is quickly absorbed it nourishes and softens the skin. It is mostly used to take care of dry to combination skin. Its estimated natural SPF value ranges from 10-30.

Usage: For perfect absorption every type of oil must be applied on the skin moistened with flower, cleansing or common water.

Storage: in a dark cold place. If the temperature is low, the product may become turbid or may solidify, but the effect fades at room temperature.
