Certified Organic Cold Pressed Coriander Oil 250ml Biopurus

The oil is pressed from seeds. Its positive effect on health has been known for centuries, it has been used mainly to treat pains, cramps and nausea, to stimulate digestion and to treat yeast infections. The researchers from the University of Beira Interior in Portugal tested coriander oil against 12 bacterial stems including E-coli, Salmonella, Bacillus cereusa meticillin and Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The results showed slackened growth of these bacteria and most stems were killed. The researchers have suggested that coriander oil may have an important role in the food industry and health care. As much as 30 % of the population of the economically more developed countries suffer from foodborne diseases every year. This research supports the development of new food additives containing coriander oil which would fight food pathogens.
